Eligibility: Any person 16 years of older who is not enrolled in public school.
Services Offered: Program designed to assist adults who are enrolled in public school and wish to upgrade basic academic skills, learn new skills, or develop interests for personal enrichment. Adult Basic and Literacy Education (ABLE) prepares students for passing GED, completing of a high school diploma, getting ready for post-secondary training and college, or learning selected vocation skills. Community Education (Nite Owls) has courses in the area of business, computer skills, fitness, arts and crafts, vocational skills, and academic studies that are held in various locations throughout Billings. GED test center is location in the Lincoln Center.
Costs of Service: No fees for ABLE. Nominal fees for Community Education classes. Fee for GED test.
