Services Offered:

The YWCA Domestic Violence Victim Services (DVVS) and Gateway House

The YWCA Domestic Violence Victim Services (DVVS) and Gateway House offer hope and healing to survivors of any form of domestic violence.  Anyone experiencing family violence is eligible for some or all of our services at no cost.  Services include 24 hour hotline, emergency shelter, support groups, legal advocacy, information and referrals and awareness education.

Sexual Violence Victims Services

YMCA offers immediate services for victims of sexual violence including immediate outreach to victims of sexual assault / rape 24 hours a day – 7days a week, immediate crisis intervention through advocates and the 24 Hour Crisis Line, accompaniment for victims to the hospital for the rape exam, face to face crisis intervention for rape / assault victims and their families, support groups for victims of rape / sexual assault or adults who were molested as children, accompaniment for victims through criminal proceedings or interactions with law enforcement, community education and awareness presentations for students, volunteer training for advocates who assist victims, referrals to appropriate community agencies available to assist victims and  clothing, if needed, following the forensic rape exam.

Employment and Training Center

The YWCA Billings Employment and Training Center links you to training and good jobs, helping you to make the right career connections!  Our FREE services are provided to both men and women age 18 or older, seeking full-time employment right now or after training is completed and Low-income or a Displaced Homemaker.  Program offers career direction, computer training, help with training costs, on-the-job training and paid work experience, job search expertise, job leads, resume creation, interview training, strengthen your strategies for career success, self-esteem assistance, budget counseling and support.

Costs of Service:  pay as able or 1$ a day per family member
