Veteran Employment Resources
Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve
ESGR facilitates and promotes a cooperative culture of employer support for National Guard and Reserve service by developing and advocating mutually beneficial initiatives; recognizing outstanding employer support; increasing awareness of applicable laws and policies; resolving potential conflicts between employers and their service members; and acting as the employers’ principal advocate within DoD.
VetJobs has thousands of employers who have used the site to identify candidates from the transitioning military and veteran market. VetJobs averages more job postings than any other military or intelligence related job board! The Employment Assistance section has guidance on how to organize a job search, write a resume, interview and identify your next employer.
Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Service
The Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (VR&E) VetSuccess Program assists Veterans with service-connected disabilities to prepare for, find, and keep suitable jobs. For Veterans with service-connected disabilities so severe that they cannot immediately consider work, VetSuccess offers services to improve their ability to live as independently as possible.
